Why should I pre-booking online and not locally?

On line booking are usually cheaper 5%-15% than local rates, depending on the availability and rental period. With pre-booking is guaranteed that your vehicle will be available at our office at Zakynthos airport immediately upon your arrival. To Book a car a prepayment is not required!

What information do I need to provide, if I make an online booking?

 You will need to provide the following information when making a booking:
• The dates and times of collection and return.
• The rental location(s) for collection and return
• The car or bike group required
• Drive age at time or pick up

As soon as you send us your reservation, you will receive an automated confirmation in the form of a rental voucher that you will have to present to our rep during the vehicle pick-up.

What about the deposit, the payment, or the hidden extra costs?

You may book the vehicle you need without a deposit up front or using a credit card, you will pay at the delivery (after you get the vehicle you have booked).
We provide our customers with the following payment options:
Pay on delivery with cash or credit/debit card.
There are no hidden extra costs. Prices including full insurance

Zakynthos Airport - How do I collect my vehicle?

You can collect your vehicle as soon as you arrive at Zakynthos Airport.It is very easy ,our rental car office is only 150 m from arrival hall. Together with your car rentals confirmation you will receive PICK UP / DROP OFF information’s & a map how to find us .Our office hours is 7 days a week from 07.00 am to 10.30 pm.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

With Motor Club Rentals are No additional charges in the occurrence of flight delays All of our employees are fully informed with up-to-date information on arrival times or changes that may occur. They will wait for your arrival flight, to deliver your car, even if there is a delay.

How old do I need to be to rent?

Rent a Car 
To rent a car from MOTOR CLUB car rental, you must hold a driving license for at least one year. Driver must be at least 21 and maximum 70 years old, at the date of pick up. If the driver is up to 23 years old, is only allowed to rent car groups A, B, .For groups C, D, E, L, F, FC ,MC , the minimum age is 23 For the rest of the other car groups the driver must be more than 25 years old.
Rent a Scooter
To rent a scooter from MOTOR CLUB, you must hold a driving license for at least one year. Driver must be at least 18 and maximum 70 years old.

Which are the driver’s requirements to rent?

For renting any Car you need to have a valid Driver’s License for at least one year. For renting a Scooters 125 cc ,is required a  valid driver’s license type , AM, or higher  ,for Scooters  300 cc  a valid driver’s license of type A2 or higher

Do I need an international driving license?

If you come from a EUROPEAN UNION COUNTRY your local full driving license is enough to drive.  Your local full driving license is also valid for countries which are listed as contracting parties in the Convention on Road Traffic, Vienna 1968. In case you come from another country, you need an INTERNATIONAL DRIVING LICENSE. If you are not sure whether your country is included, please contact us ([email protected]) prior to making your reservation.

Are there mileage limits?

The rental rates offer free unlimited mileage, on the island of Zakynthos.

Will there be petrol in the car?

"Same to Same» fuel policy.

The Renter is obliged to return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel as it had when collected. There are plenty of fuel stations on Zakynthos Island.

Is it possible to take the car outside of the island of Zakynthos?

It is possible without any extra cost to visit only the Island Kefalonia, but only with a written approval from MOTOR CLUB car rentals ,In any case, driving outside Zakynthos Island without a written approval from MOTOR CLUB car rentals, the insurance is automatically cancelled .
Mini cars and scooters are not allowed to leave the Island

Is it any map in?

Yes there is. Our friendly, professional staff will give you all the information you will need about driving in Zakynthos, as well as provide you with a helpful and detailed road map and directions to places of interest to ensure you have a unique holiday experience while visiting the island.

Where can I drop my vehicle off?

The rental vehicle may be returned to the same place you are collecting (or to another location, but only with a written approval from MOTOR CLUB car rentals)

Is good insurance included in the car rates?

There is no doubt about it: Car rental Online Bookings are privileged, and rates include, without any extra cost, Collision Damage Waiver Insurance with NO EXCESS AT ALL in case of an accident.
Full insurance does not in any way cover damages caused:

• 1) driving off the recognized and asphalted road network (off-road).
• 2) to the bottom of the vehicle.
• 3) to the tires (including the spare tire) and the wheels of the vehicle.
• 4) during loading, unloading, or carriage of the vehicle (Car-Motorcycle) on ships or trains or other means of transport without the prior written consent of the Lessor.
• 5) to the vehicle’s interior.
• 6) to the glass windows
• 7) to the Car keys.

A full insurance without excess for drivers 21 to 24 years old and older than 70 years is not available.

The rental price includes the legally required liability insurance. (With a coverage of Euro 1.300.000,-). Also included in the rental charge is a PAI (personal accident insurance for driver and passengers)

The insurance does not cover damages caused by:

• - Violation of the Greek Traffic Law, e.g. passing a red traffic light or stop sign
• - Negligence
• - Driving on unpaved roads or on the beach
• - Misfuelling

Not insured are:

• - Any damage or soiling to the interior of the car (incl. Multi media system, USB)
• - Lost or broken car keys, damaged, lost or heavy soiled child seats

In case of an accident, any damage to the car, technical problem or any other incident (fire, theft etc.) renter must immediately Contact Motor club car rentals immediately (phone +30 694461206 or +30 26950 53095 = 24h service) Any damages or technical incidents happened to the car that are not reported during the rental period but at the end of the rental period / drop off are not covered by the insurance.

What is the insurance policy for renting Scooter’s

Online bikes Bookings are privileged and offer to our customers several insurance policies, to minimize their risk as much as possible.
All MOTOR CLUB scooters are automatically covered for Legal Liability, Third Party and Public Liability, as required by law. In addition to that basic policy we provide "optional" Collision Damage Waiver insurance and Theft Insurance for the Scooters, with an “excess” that varies with the model.
Helmets for Scooter are mandatory in Greece. We provide them to you free of charge. You are responsible for any fines for not wearing a helmet.

Are there any other mandatory insurance policies that are not included in the rates? Are there any hidden extras?

No there are not. All mandatory insurances are included in the rates. There are some optional policies, such as Baby seats, , which are clearly presented as optional extras during the on-line reservation process.

Do I have to leave a security deposit?

NO you don’t have to leave any security deposit for the rental of car, scooter
